Bringing clarity to complex data

Following the successful development of a smart home leak detection device, HomeServe Labs required software to allow internal teams and partners to manage and administer IoT device and user data. A dashboard was also required to communicate key data related to the LeakBot device including install and leak rates, ranging from local to international levels. Users of the software would include the internal operations teams to help assist customers and organise repairs as well as insurance partners wanting to monitor the success of campaigns and gain insight into customer behaviour. The project began with interviews with members of both groups of potential users to better understand their needs and requirements. I then developed a series of user journeys and wireframes of key screens. Following testing I developed polished UI designs as shown below. These were implemented in collaboration with an internal development team, across a series of sprints.
